Shoulder Rolls and Arm Circles
The shoulder is the most mobile joint in the body, and the one we move least at a desk. A minute of rolls and circles brings it back through its range.
This tip is scheduled for Monday 7 December 2026 — you’re early. It’s all here already; enjoy.
How to do it
- Stand tall and roll the shoulders backwards slowly 10 times, then forwards 10 times.
- Lift the arms out to the sides at shoulder height.
- Draw small circles with the hands — 10 forwards, 10 backwards.
- Gradually make the circles bigger.
- Lower the arms and shake out the hands.
