Half Side Plank: Side-Body Strength Made Accessible
With the bottom knee on the floor, side plank becomes accessible to most people. It strengthens the sides of the trunk and the shoulder — muscles that front-facing exercises miss.
This tip is scheduled for Tuesday 8 December 2026 — you’re early. It’s all here already; enjoy.
How to do it
- Sit on your right hip with the knees bent and the right hand on the floor under the shoulder.
- Keep the right knee down and extend the left leg.
- Lift the hips so the body forms a line from the head to the knee.
- Reach the left arm toward the ceiling.
- Hold for 3 to 5 breaths, lower with control, then switch sides.
