Wall Push-Ups: Upper-Body Strength Anywhere
A push-up against a wall builds the chest, shoulders and arms without loading the wrists and back the way a floor push-up does. Step the feet back to make it harder.
This tip is scheduled for Wednesday 2 December 2026 — you’re early. It’s all here already; enjoy.
How to do it
- Stand an arm's length from a wall and place the palms on it at shoulder height.
- Keep the body in one straight line from head to heels.
- Bend the elbows and bring the chest toward the wall.
- Press back to the start.
- Do 10 to 15, rest, and repeat.
- To make it harder, step the feet further back.
