Down Dog to Plank: Five Slow Waves
Moving slowly between Downward-Facing Dog and Plank builds strength in the shoulders, core and legs together. Five slow waves are worth more than twenty fast ones.
This tip is scheduled for Saturday 28 November 2026 — you’re early. It’s all here already; enjoy.
How to do it
- Start in Downward-Facing Dog: hands shoulder-width apart, hips high.
- Inhale and shift forward into Plank, shoulders over the wrists.
- Hold the line from head to heels for one breath.
- Exhale and press back into Down Dog.
- Repeat 5 times, slowly.
- Rest in Child's Pose.
