Utkatasana Pulses: Leg Strength in Two Minutes
Chair Pose works the thighs, hips and back at once. Small pulses followed by a steady hold build strength quickly — and you can do it anywhere.
This tip is scheduled for Tuesday 13 October 2026 — you’re early. It’s all here already; enjoy.
How to do it
- Stand with the feet hip-width apart.
- Inhale and raise the arms.
- Exhale, bend the knees and sit the hips back as if into a chair.
- Keep the weight in the heels and the knees behind the toes.
- Pulse gently up and down 10 times, then hold for 5 breaths.
- Straighten the legs and lower the arms.
