Reclined Figure Four: Release the Deep Hip
Lying on your back, crossing one ankle over the other knee and drawing the legs in stretches the deep hip muscles — gently, with the back fully supported.
This tip is scheduled for Sunday 13 December 2026 — you’re early. It’s all here already; enjoy.
How to do it
- Lie on your back with the knees bent and the feet on the floor.
- Cross the right ankle over the left knee and flex the right foot.
- Lift the left foot and hold behind the left thigh.
- Gently draw the left knee toward the chest until you feel the right hip stretch.
- Hold for 5 to 8 breaths, then switch sides.
