Simhasana (Lion's Breath): Let the Face Relax
A big inhale, then a wide-mouthed 'haaa' with the tongue out. It looks silly — that's half the point. Lion's Breath releases tension in the jaw, face and throat, and children love it.
This tip is scheduled for Wednesday 23 December 2026 — you’re early. It’s all here already; enjoy.
How to do it
- Kneel or sit comfortably and place the hands on the knees.
- Inhale deeply through the nose.
- Open the mouth wide, stretch the tongue out toward the chin, and exhale with a strong 'haaa'.
- Widen the eyes and gaze up toward the eyebrows.
- Repeat 3 to 5 times, then relax the face.
