Agna Focus: Three Minutes Between the Eyebrows
In Vethathiri Maharishi's Simplified Kundalini Yoga (SKY), Agna meditation rests the attention gently at the point between the eyebrows. A few minutes is enough to gather a scattered mind.
This tip is scheduled for Sunday 1 November 2026 — you’re early. It’s all here already; enjoy.
How to do it
- Sit comfortably with a tall spine and close the eyes.
- Breathe naturally for a few breaths.
- Bring your attention — not your eyes — to the point between the eyebrows.
- Hold the attention there lightly, as if resting a fingertip on it.
- When thoughts arise, notice them and return to the point.
- After 3 minutes, rub the palms together, place them over the eyes, and open the eyes slowly.
