Seated Cat-Cow: Wake the Spine Without Leaving Your Chair
Two hours at a desk and the spine sets like concrete. Seated Cat-Cow moves it gently through flexion and extension in time with the breath — no mat, no changing clothes, no one needs to notice.
This tip is scheduled for Thursday 1 October 2026 — you’re early. It’s all here already; enjoy.
How to do it
- Sit near the front of the chair with feet flat and hands on the knees.
- Inhale: lift the chest forward and up, roll the shoulders back, and gaze slightly up.
- Exhale: round the back, draw the navel in, and bring the chin toward the chest.
- Move slowly with the breath for 8 to 10 rounds.
- Finish sitting tall for three natural breaths.
