Netra Vyayama: Eye Exercises for Screen-Tired Eyes
Hours on a screen keep the eyes fixed at one distance. These traditional eye movements take the eyes through their full range, then rest them in warm darkness.
This tip is scheduled for Friday 9 October 2026 — you’re early. It’s all here already; enjoy.
How to do it
- Sit tall, keep the head still, and relax the face.
- Look left, then right — slowly, 5 times.
- Look up, then down — 5 times.
- Look diagonally: up-left to down-right, then up-right to down-left — 5 times each.
- Draw slow circles with the eyes — 3 clockwise, 3 anticlockwise.
- Blink softly 10 times, then rub the hands warm and cup them over closed eyes for 30 seconds.
