Evening Introspection: Five Minutes to Close the Day
Introspection is central to Vethathiri Maharishi's teaching: looking honestly at the day so that tomorrow is a little better. Three questions, asked calmly, are enough.
This tip is scheduled for Thursday 31 December 2026 — you’re early. It’s all here already; enjoy.
How to do it
- Sit quietly for a minute and let the breath settle.
- Ask: what went well today, and who helped me?
- Ask: where did I react with anger, worry or greed — and what triggered it?
- Ask: what one thing will I do differently tomorrow?
- Write the answers in a notebook if you like.
- End with a moment of gratitude.
