Balasana: The Reset When Everything Feels Too Much
Balasana (Child's Pose) is the yoga world's universal reset button. It calms the nervous system, gently stretches the back and hips, and gives the mind a moment of stillness — no experience needed.

This tip is scheduled for Monday 20 July 2026 — you’re early. It’s all here already; enjoy.
How to do it
- Kneel on the floor. Bring the big toes together and sit back on the heels.
- Fold forward, resting the forehead on the ground (or on a cushion if it doesn't reach comfortably).
- Extend the arms in front of you, or rest them alongside the body.
- Breathe slowly into the back of the ribs. Hold for 1–5 minutes.
- To come out, walk the hands back to lift up gently. No sudden movement.
