SEGA Anti-Doping Policy Published — Athlete Governance Framework

The SEGA Anti-Doping Policy is now live: four prohibited substance classes, Siddha Thailam exemptions, testing protocols, sanctions matrix and TUE process. All athletes must review before competing.

The SEGA Intercontinental Yoga Alliance has published its official Anti-Doping Policy. As Yogasana Sport enters a new era with AI-precision scoring, athlete governance must match the sport's rising credibility.

The policy covers four prohibited substance classes — Beta-Blockers (prohibited in and out of competition), CNS Stimulants (prohibited in-competition), Anabolic Agents (prohibited in and out), and Diuretics (strictly prohibited).

Siddha and Ayurvedic thailams remain permitted for topical use, with a documented list including Murivenna, Mahanarayan Thailam, Dhanwantharam, Karpooradi, Kottamchukkadi and Prabhanjanam. Athletes are advised to source only from GMP-certified suppliers with lab-tested batches to avoid contamination.

The policy also outlines in-competition and out-of-competition testing protocols, chain-of-custody procedures, a five-row sanctions matrix, and a formal Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) process.

All athletes competing in SEGA sanctioned events must review the full policy at the Anti-Doping section under Championship.
